On warm summerdays, you can enjoy breakfast in the garden, on winterdays and rainy days you can sit inside with the warmth of our stove.
We choose as much as possible local products following the seasons: in the fall we have nuts, in spring and summer we have cherries, strawberries, apples, pears and spices from our own garden. Als for the more exotic breakfastproducts we follow the seasons as much as possible.
The yoghurt is made on the Hollebeekhoeve in Kruibeke. Certain cheeses are made in the farms in our town. You can find a tasty icecream at Knut ijs, just around the corner.
On the first Saturday of the month there is a farmers market in Bazel. There we buy strawberries, onions, eggs, … directly from the farmers. We also find tasty cakes and marmelades on that market.
Our pancakes are made with original vanilla from Reunion island in the Indian Ocean, where we have family. The vanilla comes from Plantation Vanilla Bourbon.
When we have reasons to celebrate, we toast with a glass of Cava.
