B&B BAZ has all the necessary facilities to let you enjoy a relaxing stay. We would like to tell you here what is included in the price. Many facilities such as breakfast and made beds are also optional, so you can choose whether you want to stay for a low or slightly higher price with more luxury. The full list of options can be found at the bottom of this page. When booking online via our website, you can indicate these options.
FACILITIES INCLUDED IN THE PRICE:
Near our B&B you will find numerous restaurants where you can enjoy a delicious meal in the cozy village center of Bazel. But you can also heat up a takeaway meal at B&B BAZ or prepare a culinary meal yourself. If you book one of the holiday apartments or the entire holiday home, you will have a fully equipped kitchen, dining table and utensils to enjoy all these delicious meals. If you book your room Haven or room Riet, you can use the adjacent communal kitchen for the preparation of meals, where you can also find the necessary eating utensils. If you book the wooden house Hut, you have a kitchen corner with a combi oven and hob for one cooking pot. Hut guests can also use the communal kitchen in the main building to prepare their meals.
For meetings, training courses, presentations or just for a cozy get-together, we have everything in our common living room: coffee corner, tap for still water and sparkling drinking water, honesty bar with wine and regional beers and soft drinks, large screen for presentations or a family quiz, free wifi, board games and books. Sitting together at the table is certainly possible, there are tables and chairs for a maximum of 22 people. There are also high chairs that you can use for free. You can have a nice chat in the seat by the fire of the gas stove.
This living space opens onto a spacious summer terrace with a view of the castle park. On summer days you can eat outside, you always have your own terrace with garden table and chairs.
Normal consumption of heating, water and electricity is included in the price. In the colder months it is important that the heating is turned down if you open the windows for a longer period of time. This saves unnecessary energy costs and is also good for our environment. When renting the BAZ holiday home for 12-16 people, the meter readings are noted on arrival. This way the consumption can be checked on departure. An extra amount will be charged for above-average consumption. You will receive more information about this when booking the BAZ holiday home for 12-16 people.
Final cleaning is always included in the price. When booking a room, the waste is removed daily for B&B BAZ, when renting a holiday apartment or holiday home you sort yourself and deposit the full waste bags in the various waste containers provided for this purpose. If you have chosen the "towel set" option, you can ask for replacement of dirty or wet towels.
In our garden we have a swimming pond and a sauna. We have built a sweet path in our garden: here you can enjoy all kinds of mint, wild strawberries, berries,... The children can climb and swing in the garden, snack on the wild strawberries or swim in the swimming pond. There is also table tennis for sports enthusiasts and plenty of sun loungers for those who want to relax in the garden. The swimming pond is heated from mid-April (correct day depending on outside temperature) until the end of September. The energy consumption of the sauna and heating of the swimming pond is always included in the price.
Families can stay in the family-friendly accommodations: Room Riet can be divided by a sliding wall. For example, the area where the children sleep can be darkened earlier. Apartment Woud&Wolken has two separate bedrooms and a sofa bed in the living area of Woud room. Here too, the children can go to bed at an earlier time. Appartement Wei also has a separate room with 2 single beds for children. In the stairwell of the main building are baskets with all kinds of toys.
Wheelchair users can also enjoy their stay in peace. All necessary adjustments are provided.
We have a wheelchair accessible room in Haven where both sanitary facilities and wardrobe are made in such a way that a wheelchair user can use them independently.
In every bathroom there are dispensers with shampoo, lotion, shower gel, conditioner and hand soap and kitchen towel and dish cloth are ready for use in the kitchen. On arrival there is also a maintenance package ready for you containing toilet rolls, washing up sponge, washing up liquid and dishwasher tablets (available as a dishwasher).
B&B BAZ has a parking lot. The parking space is slightly wider for wheelchair users.
There is a covered bicycle shed with charging point for electric bicycles. If you would like to explore the area, you can rent a bicycle from us (see options at the bottom of this page).
