Restaurants in Bazel

18-12-2019

We are happy to provide an overview of all restaurants within walking distance of our B&B (maximum 250 meters walking):

Hofke van Bazel (€€€€)

Has been rewarded with a Michelin star for its excellent cuisine. Vegetables and spices come directly from the kitchengarden of the restaurant. The restaurant has a cosy and pleasant garden in which you can enjoy even better the fine courses.

In Hofke van Bazel you can enjoy dinner for two but also organise a weddingparty or a company event.

De Eenhoorn (€€€)

Has a beautiful garden situated next to the garden of the castle. The courses are a good mix of traditional French-Belgian specialties, changing monthly and based on market availability. When the weather is good you can enjoy this even more on the terrace in front of the restaurant or on the cosy garden terrace. De Eenhoorn is  a good choice for a business lunch as well as for a dinner for two or with friends.

Den Duiventoren (€€)

Is located within the walls surrounding the gardens of the Wissekerke castle. Den Duiventoren is specialised in tasty Flemisch courses such as eel, mussels with fries, vol-au-vent and cheese croquettes. The children can play in the playground and watch the goats, rabbits and chickens in the neighbouring pasture.

Bistro Den Basilique (€€)

Is situated in front of the entrance to the church of Bazel. It is a small and cosy restaurant.

De Wase Wis (€€)

Has a festive and cosy atmosphere. During the weekend inhabitants of Bazel come for a tasty coffee with cake and chocolate. But you can invite family or friends for a lunch or dinner, with wine, on the sunny terrace.

Den Oyevaer (€€)

Can already be seen on pictures and postcards from the early 20th century. You will enjoy the French-Belgian courses, but game courses are highly recommended.

Trattoria Bazalia (€€€)

According to the owners, this is the charming italian sister of Hofke van Bazel. You can indeed eat very tasty italian regional specialties. The service also has italian charm.
